Funny, in Michigan it’s about 2.75 for diesel, around the same price for regular.

I’m still seeing diesel ranging from “87+ $0.15” to “87 + $1.25”
I shit you not. There are so few diesel vehicles on the road (outside of truck stops and major Interstate exits), they just charge whatever they want. I shudder to think how old the diesel in some of those underground tanks must be if they’re charging almost twice as much as regular gas.

Diesel is about 20 cents per liter cheaper than gasoline here in Germany.

Lucky. We pay nearly that much per LITER for gas/diesel. More than that sometimes, actually.
Oh Canada.

In Finland diesel costs 4.5$/gal (in local unit that would be 1.1 €/l) in the cheapest place in my area. Gasoline is currently 5.5 $/gal (1.3 €/l). And this is very cheap by our standards.

No joke! I live in SF and just flew out to Detroit to pick up a M5 (obviously not diesel but still) for a leisurely drive down the east coast, across the country, and back up CA from the AZ border to SF. I braced for the impact that this was going to have on my credit card as I use premium in my 540 and knew what to expect. The first stop for fuel was in Ohio, and boy was I confused. 93 octane was $1.65 a gallon. $1.65!! I actually watched a couple other people fill their tanks first just to verify that this was actually gasoline and that I wasn’t about to pump kerosene or something into my new car and destroy it. The pump handle was worrisome too, as it was just a metal pipe and a trigger, similar to diesel here in CA. No need for fume recovery in Ohio, I guess.

I’d like to where the “here” is in these posts.
In Connecticut-
87-$1.99
diesel (at a station that was 20 cents cheaper than most) $2.19

New Mexico. My reasoning is that this area is packed with thousands of people that commute 50 plus miles north for work. So every individual fills up twice a week compared to everyone on the opposite side of the city which only fill up twice a month. That side of the city is $0.30 to $0.50 higher which is close to a 30% price increase in some cases. That’s just my guess on the prices though, plus the Southwest advantage when it comes to fuel pricings Nationally it seems.
